You have to be sure to have the right bike to fit your fitness needs.  Because you want your ride to be challenging and a bike with alot of gears does make the ride easier.

You can also consider joining an aerobics class if you are not the type of person who likes to excercise on your own. The instructors of these classes usually do their excercises to music. This will help their students get into a groove and enjoy their excercising time.

You can also reduce stress by performing aerobic fitness excercises. It is a great way to just "get away" for a bit and clear your head while still being beneficial to your body. Be sure to commit yourself entirely to your previous plans and to your health as well because that is where it counts.
